Small wooden fishing boats moored in a calm bay below forested hills

Maluku, Indonesia

Fish landings logged at the jetty, with the boat and the crew named.

We help fishing crews in Maluku record each landing: the boat, the fishing zone, the weight by species and the buyer, so the catch can be sold with its origin attached.

Crews and buyers ask

Do fishers pay to use the record?

No. The buyer pays a small fee per landing. Fishers see their own entries free.

Is the fishing zone checked?

The crew leader names it and the buyer can see it. We do not verify it at sea.

Does this replace the licence?

No. It records the landing next to the licence number.
